8x8 has launched the next generation of its Phone App for Microsoft Teams, which offers native calling and focuses on UX.
The platform is built on 8x8's direct routing service and makes up part of the 8x8 for Microsoft Teams solution portfolio.
Hunter Middleton, CPO at 8x8, said: “With the 8x8 Phone App for Microsoft Teams, we are providing our customers with the familiar Teams user interface coupled with our technology on the backend.
“By providing a truly Teams native calling experience, we are enhancing the overall user experience.”
Currently over 350,000 8x8 Voice for Microsoft Teams licenses have been sold.
