Core Technology Systems has expanded into Scotland with the acquisition of Microsoft Gold Partner, CompanyNet.

The buy strengthens Core’s technical capability, adding 25 employees and offices in Edinburgh and Glasgow.

“This deal means greater value and additional service and project delivery capabilities for customers of both companies,” said Core CEO Conor Callanan (pictured).

Andy Hamilton, CompanyNet CEO, added: “We are confident this agreement represents the best interests of CompanyNet employees, customers, and partners, providing great opportunities for both parties.”

Both companies retain their existing brands, with the immediate focus on a successful integration.

The acquisition was completed with a funding package from ThinCats, and with support from Danescor.
