Sussex-based Focus Group has been delivering free meals to frontline NHS staff and local residents who are elderly or living in isolation, all prepared in The Hut, the firm’s in-house canteen.
Stuart MacGarvie, Chef and Manager at The Hut, and his team have been preparing freshly cooked healthy meals for Worthing Hospital medical staff and Shoreham locals.
Chris Goodman, joint MD, said: “To demonstrate gratitude and admiration of health workers and help those struggling in the coronavirus outbreak, there was no question about pooling our resources and doing our bit.
"We hope to go some way to making a difference during these difficult times.”
