A SIM-only business solution that enables resellers to provide out-of-the-box mobile integration with existing UC solutions has been rolled out by Apalo.
Called ApaloSIM, the solution does not need an app and is compatible with any IP PBX/SIP compliant platform, enabling mobile handsets to work like any other SIP device.
"ApaloSIM allows the communication features currently available on the incumbent system to be accessed natively on mobile handsets," stated CEO Philippe Matos.
“Our technology is for businesses looking to maximise the return on the investment made on their existing systems while also leveraging the productivity and agility benefits of a mobile-first enabled workforce.
“UC resellers and service providers can more easily tap into business opportunities that until now have often been hard to reach."
Matos also noted that ApaloSIM can be fully white labelled and he also expects to attract the attention of wholesalers and distributors of VoIP hardware .
"At the same time, ApaloSIM lowers the bar to entry of traditional MVNO and MVNE service providers, opening the door to developers of other voice platforms, specialist MVNOs or AltNet providers currently offering fixed voice services and looking to add mobile," he added.
