Rural communities throughout Northumberland are set to receive a broadband boost following a linkup between Commsworld and Alncom.

Full Fibre has received additional funding from Basalt Infrastructure Partners, with the altnet now building to over 320,000 premises across ten English counties.

Airband has closed a £100m debt package to accelerate its full fibre rollout to rural homes and businesses across the West of England.

Guernsey’s incumbent ISP, Sure, has secured £37.5m of funding to supply full fibre to all 30,000 homes on the island by 2026. The investment includes a capped investment of up to £12.5m from the States of Guernsey.

IDNet has become the latest consumer ISP to join CityFibre’s open access network and will provide Gigabit speed services to homes and businesses in Cambridge, Leicester and Peterborough.

Voneus has bolstered its team across several departments to ramp up its full fibre rollout in Wales, targeting hard-to-reach communities. It is currently delivering network builds across Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Powys.

Government funding has connected 1,800 schools to full fibre as part of its £210m investment to boost connectivity in places where internet speeds are lagging.

YouFibre has connected the 2,500th customer to its full fibre network, which is being built by infrastructure partner Netomnia.
