8x8 has made enhancements to the 8x8 Platform to boost employee productivity and efficiency, including updates that will also help mitigate risk, using more modern systems.
These changes include expanded 8x8 Secure Pay capabilities that gives the ability to provide customers with a secure payment experience; AI-powered 8x8 Intelligent Customer Assistant innovations that enables 8x8 Secure Pay, allowing customers to pay through the 8x8 Intelligent Customer Assistant for a fully automated path to process payments; and new customer engagement and employee collaboration enhancements.
These consist of a voice intelligent directory for 8x8 Intelligent Customer Assistant that uses a faster, natural sounding service with the newly introduced Voice Intelligent Directory; and 8x8 Knowledge Base Shortcuts and Inserts, to help contact centre agents find relevant articles and use pre-populated FAQ email and chat replies.
Other platform innovations include enhanced Interaction Retrieval Widget for Proactive Monitoring; 8x8 Meetings Assets Sharing; Mobile Device Management Support for Retail; and desk phones multicast paging.
