Distributor Viegli is enabling Unify resellers to capitalise on the Microsoft Teams opportunity with the launch of its Unify Phone for Teams plug-in, which MD Robert Nunn says has the added appeal of greater flexibility as the app can be deployed without the need for additional Microsoft licences.
He also noted that the mobility client delivers push-pull call functionality and one number service as well as MS Teams. "End customers can take their desk phone anywhere with additional functionality such as call recording and analytics," stated Nunn. "And the opportunity for new and existing Unify resellers to engage with the MS Teams community is huge.”
Nunn also pointed out the security advantages of this device agnostic mobility app. He stated: "You wouldn’t let people use their personal email address at work, so why let them use their personal mobile number? The Unify Phone app enables organisations to keep it all in-house."
Building on this functionality Nunn has elevated the Unify Phone for Teams plugin as a distinct 'game changer' for partners, reiterating that it rules out the need for additional Microsoft licences.
He says Viegli is one of the first distributors in the world to provide the Unify Phone for Teams plug-in and will officially showcase the app during a business opportunity focused webinar on 9th August (11am), ahead of the launch to market on August 23rd.
