Advantex has landed a £2m project with Advance Learning Partnership as part of its continued work under the Department for Education’s ‘Connect the Classroom’ programme.
A total of £150m is available through the scheme, which is being rolled out in waves across the UK.
Funding worth between £30,000 to over £100,000 could cover anything from wireless access points and core switches to licensing through to installation, configuration and handover.
Scott Duncan, Advantex’s Business Development Manager said: “We are providing peace-of-mind to schools that don’t have onsite IT support, helping them get to grips with the technical requirements, processes and documents required to secure funding.”
“This fund will cover all of a school’s upgrade, so they don’t need to worry about whether or not they can afford to do the work.”
