Cellhire serves as connectivity champions for Paris 2024 Games

Cellhire delivered a range of connectivity solutions for the Paris 2024 Games including more than 19,000 voice and IoT solutions for athletes, organisers, broadcasters, media and sponsors.

The company utilised its core IoT network, powered by Orange, to bring connectivity for numerous applications from ticketing machines to push-to-talk solutions and live-streaming media equipment.

It utilised eSIM technology as a core solution to help deliver the thousands of connections required.

Tony Guerion, Cellhire CEO, said: “The flexibility of eSIM technology allowed us to seamlessly address the complex connectivity needs of the Games, including, and crucially, speed and efficiency of deployment and scalability.”
