Spitfire Network Services Ltd (Spitfire) has extended its supplier partnership with Cellhire, helping it move further towards key growth in the IoT area.
This new extension will add capabilities to enhance the existing robust Spitfire MVNO offering by seamless failover to backup connectivity on the Cellhire MVNO network.
Spitfire’s One Network interconnects its advanced core network with BT Group’s EE 4G and 5G Radio Access Network as a Full MVNO.
With ‘Enhanced Mobile’, Spitfire’s One Network offers a range of benefits including strong connectivity and security to SME, enterprise and IoT customers across the UK.
Spitfire is now able to complement One Network with Layer 2 interconnection with the Cellhire MVNO network, which provides offshore UK roaming access to all four UK MNOs.
Cellhire’s IoT connectivity enables IoT devices to securely transmit data in over 191 countries globally, which is made possible through its own IoT network, formed of over 430 relationships with operators worldwide.
Harry Bowlby, Managing Director, Spitfire Network Services Ltd said: “IoT is a key growth area for Spitfire moving forwards, and Cellhire’s experience in this sector aligns perfectly with our ambitions.”
