Stone Group’s Carbon Zero commitments have been reinforced with the appointment of its first head of sustainability, Sheryl Moore, who will lead the CSR, ESG and sustainability strategies and policy.
She will ensure considering of these areas is integrated throughout the business and can impact decision-making at all levels.
Stone is aiming toward Net Carbon Zero, with a view to obtaining the PAS 2060 accreditation by 2030.
CEO Simon Harbridge said: “Sheryl’s experience in social impact development and measurement, along with broader sustainability initiatives, will consolidate the progress we have made to date on many fronts and act as the catalyst to drive us forward.”
Moore added: “Stone is leading the charge when it comes to circular sustainability and building on this reputation to meet our green targets is exciting.”
