Stone Group has been snapped up by highly acquisitive IT and cloud solutions provider Converge Technology Solutions, marking the Canadian company’s first move into the UK market.
The move will allow Stone Group to expand the scope of its education-focused circular IT solutions, says CEO Simon Harbridge.
“Joining Converge is a benefit for both our clients and Stone employees,” he said. “Becoming part of Converge will strengthen our ability to deliver an expanded technology portfolio and support the diverse needs of our clients.”
Stone has served the UK's public and private sectors for over 30 years.

Stone Group marks the thirty-fifth acquisition announced by Converge or its affiliates since October 2017.
