Japanese ICT giant NEC has announced the UK release of its UCaaS solution UNIVERGE BLUE CONNECT and its additional CCaaS solution UNIVERGE BLUE ENGAGE.
CONNECT provides users with a unified communication suite combining the user’s phone system, chat, video, screen sharing, file management and conference calling, whilst ENGAGE adds an additional omni-channel CX functionality.
NEC’s sales director for the UK & Ireland, Andrew Cooper, states: “The solution enables telecoms, collaboration, back up, security, webinars, file sharing and more within a single solution.”
NEC’s go-to-market strategy will be maintaining the 100% indirect sales channel using UK resellers as well as Nimans as launching partner distributor.
At the product's launch event Cooper emphasised that the product put customer ownership at its heart as they could “control branding, control billing and control pricing.
This follows a launch in the USA and Canada last year which means that UNIVERGE BLUE can already boast over 80 million global users.
