NEC has officially informed resellers that it will be pulling out of the on-premise Unified Communications market outside of Japan, over the next few years.
A spokesperson for NEC Corporation said: “This decision follows a significant shift in market demand from on-premise to cloud-based services in recent years.
“NEC is committed to supporting its customers with this phase out and meeting its existing contractual obligations.”
