Trenches Law recruits quintet to aid telcos

Telecoms and technology-focused legal firm Trenches Law has added five new faces to help telcos manage wayleaves and code powers as the UK moves towards its gigabit-capable targets.

“Following an increase in demand for broadband connectivity, it is vital for us to bring in talented employees who can support our clients and make each project as streamlined as possible,” said co-founder Sharon McDermott.

Trenches Law currently provides managed services to ITS and WightFibre alongside various altnets, wholesalers and resellers.

Newly appointed Wayleave Manager Katie Fosten (pictured) added: “There is a lot of work to be carried out. We must continue to educate and assist businesses so they can stay connected and utilise faster broadband speeds to remain competitive.”

Fosten joins Louise Ford (Wayleave Officer), Sophie Huntbach (Training and Compliance Officer), Leigh Collins (Project Manager) and Hannah Ali-Harmes (Finance manager) as new names in the Trenches Law team. The company aims to double its workforce and become 50 strong by the end of 2021.
