Close collaboration between industries is key to speeding up the full fibre rollout, says telecoms law firm Trenches Law, which specialise in helping ISPs overcome wayleave issues.
“Telcos, landlords, property firms and legal specialists like ourselves need to work together and make this highly sought-after infrastructure a reality,” said founder Sharon McDermott.
Trenches Law is working with WightFibre on its £90m Isle of Wight rollout and has partnered with property specialist BSC Management IW to help the ISP navigate wayleave issues in high-rise buildings.
Earlier this year, Trenches Law made a similar deal with property agent Island Lettings.
