Maddie Hinch, a star speaker at the Comms National Awards in 2018, has repeated the Olympic heroics that secured gold medal success for Team GB in Rio in 2016.
The 32-year-old goalkeeper, who was a brand ambassador for 9 Group for four years, saved all four of Spain’s penalties in a shoot-out that secured the British team a place in the semi-finals of the women’s hockey tournament in Tokyo. Team GB’s head coach Mark Hager called her one the best goalkeepers in the world after the game.
Louise Abbey, Marketing Director at 9 Group, commented: “I’m sure many of the partners who met her at the events she attended for us, will be absolutely delighted to see her performing more heroics in Tokyo. She is a true superstar.”
