New NFON CEO Klaus Von Rottkay is planning to ramp up investment in the company’s partner base and lead its post-Covid sales efforts by leveraging his heavyweight sales experience.
Rottkay told Comms Dealer: “The need to modernise and digitise has become even more apparent, even to the laggers. It is going to become easier to convince people to make the move. We want to show that there is life after Covid,” he said.

After exiting PlanetHome Group in 2020, Von Rottkay was approached by NFON.
“NFON were not previously on my radar and but I was convinced to join by the positive perspectives of my old colleagues and my interest in its cloud telephony focus,” he said.
Rottkay confirmed that NFON will remain committed to its indirect channel with increased investment planned: “ Our products are more in demand than ever and we are looking now to double down on investment, onboard new partners and expand into our existing footprint.”
