Telent will continue to operate the digital connectivity network for National Highways and the Strategic Road Network until 2027.
The relationship has been ongoing since 2018, with Telent delivering a portfolio of digital platforms to modernise connectivity infrastructure.
The operation and management connects over 36,000 services, including CCTV and video, information and communications systems, and traffic monitoring sensors.
Nigel Weldon, Business Development Director at Telent, said: “ We will continue to deliver digital connectivity and roll out innovative network technology, to support the provision and operation of new services.
“This will ultimately make our roads safer and improve the overall driving experience for all road users.”
