On Friday 22nd September 2023 Focus Group’s 3rd annual Golf Day teed off at East Sussex National Golf Resort, raising £52,198 in aid of Focus Foundation, which supports underprivileged children and young people, mental health initiatives and charitable projects.
Over 100 guests attended including Snooker’s World Champion and guest speaker Dennis Taylor, who joined Chris Goodman, Co-founder and Director of Focus Group for 18 holes.
Goodman said: “It’s a fixture in our fundraising calendar now, and our latest golf day did not disappoint. With so many grant applications waiting to be approved, these funds will immediately be put to use to help change people’s lives.”
In the last 18 months since launch, Focus Foundation has provided over 50 grants, resulting in over 47,000 beneficiaries.
