Simoco hires to drive growing transport business

Simoco Wireless Solutions has appointed Graeme Warne to a newly created Business Development Manager position, specifically overseeing its growing range of solutions for transport organisations.

He joins from a senior business development position at Dynniq, a provider of transport management systems.

Manchester tech firms team up to boost local Internet speeds

Two Manchester-based tech companies have teamed up to give local businesses an 'Internet boost'.

Local ISP Telcom Networks is working with The Loop, Manchester's dedicated fibre network (part of Gamma), to deliver faster Internet speeds, more than three hundred times faster than standard broadband, initially to 15 prominent buildings in Manchester city centre, claims the firm.

NFON reports record revenue and first-time breakeven

NFON AG has reported record revenue for 2017 and first-time breakeven on Group level.

Over the past three years total revenue increased at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of more than 30%.

In Germany, the company's home market, growth over the same period was at 25% and reached 48% in the company's international markets.
