PlatformX Communications (PXC) intends to partner with Netomnia and Brsk to bolster its position as an altnet aggregator.
The recently merged altnet pair will complement PXC’s existing altnet community with a network footprint of 1.75 million premises. The altnets aim to expand to three million premises by December 2025.
Discussions on the proposed agreement between PXC and Netomnia and Brsk are at an advanced stage.
Subject to finalising the terms of that agreement, Netomnia and Brsk aims to onboard its first customer through the PXC platform by February 2025.
James Smith, CEO of PXC, said: “With Brsk and Netomnia’s network footprint complementing our existing altnet community, this move enables PXC to effectively serve more areas with fibre.
Jeremy Chelot, Netomnia and Group CEO, added: "This collaboration will accelerate our customer acquisition and help us achieve our goal of serving one million customers by 2028, building on the 175,000 already connected.”
