Boom Collaboration has seen an annual rise in its sales of videobars sales, with demand now equating to more than 40% of the company’s overall product portfolio where the Boom HALO videobar has become its most popular product.
The growing videobar sector overall has also increased in popularity, with the latest industry research showing surging sales helping to make it worth almost £6bn annually, with a growth rate of around 10% per year.
Fredrik Hörnkvist, Co-Founder of Boom explained: “Simplicity, versatility and hitting the sweet spot of affordability and economies of scale are some of the many reasons for the ‘sales explosion’.
“I think the biggest appeal is how they are ideally suited to so many locations, from a huddle room to quite large environments, accommodating up to 20 people.”
He added: “For us, we are seeing much more demand of almost 30% this year - they have become the new kings of conferencing.”
Boom’s videobar portfolio is spearheaded by the HALO which features a 4K UHD camera, six microphone array and high-fidelity speakers, alongside advanced facial recognition, speaker tracking, intelligent noise reduction and AI auto-framing.
“Customers are looking for simplicity,” said Co-Founder Holli Hulett.
“When the camera, audio and intelligence all come together in one unit, it’s easy for anyone to use and easy for IT to deploy, which is where videobars win and why we’re seeing such strong adoption - they tick every box for the majority of rooms, helping teams focus on the meeting instead of the technology.”
