Fontevo has set its sights on UK resellers addressing SME business customers seeking a ‘plug and play’ phone upgrade in advance of the ISDN switch off.
The German telephone system manufacturer claims its new Comfortel D-400 SIP telephone offers zero-touch-provisioning and is completely unified communications compliant.
“We’re aiming the D-400 at SME resellers who can now offer customers looking to migrate from ISDN to SIP with an intuitive telephone for the small office or home worker,” said COO Axel Klossner.
"The D-400 has the same open sourced infrastructure across all systems, reducing the need for extensive training sessions.”
Other features include a touch screen interface through to an integrated range of DECT phones and the headset facility for both wired and Bluetooth connections.
The D-400 can also be supplemented with up to three COMfortel D-XT20 key extensions, adding a maximum of 60 additional function keys each with three levels.
Fontevo is the marketing brand for manufacturer Auerswald, which boasts 16,000 reseller partners in Europe.
The company launched in the UK last year and says it is planning a new drive on the UK ICT channel in 2020, with a complete range of SIP and Cloud telephony solutions.
