Red Hat has appointed Andrew Brown as SVP and CRO, to succeed Larry Stack from October 1st.
In this role, Brown will lead commercial and public sector sales, channel and alliances sales, and consulting services, as well as the company’s global go-to-market strategy.
He brings more than 28 years of experience in hybrid cloud and transformational technology, joining from IBM where he served as GM of Technology Sales UK&I.
Matt Hicks, President and CEO of Red Hat, said: “For Red Hat to fuel hybrid cloud transformation globally, we must integrate our product vision with our sales approach.”
Stack will work alongside Brown through Q3 to facilitate a smooth leadership transition, before joining IBM in a senior advisor role.
