Snom expands D8xx deskphone series

Snom has announced availability of two new IP end devices and an expansion module for its D8xx series.

Snom’s new D812 model can be adapted to user needs including setting up call group and speed dials. Equipped with four context-sensitive keys, it has a further eight which are freely programmable, as well as Snom’s reliable five-way navigation button.

Alongside the D812 is the larger Snom D815W which can be used in different office environments. Like the D812, the D815W has antibacterial housing, a 5-inch TFT colour display and supports up to 12 SIP identities. The model’s two gigabit capability and two USB 2.0 ports ensure maximum connectivity. Other features include integrated Wi-Fi and ten keys with up to forty functions,

Both end devices can be remotely configured using auto-provisioning or SRAPS and offer high security and HD audio quality standards.

Steven Try, Channel Manager UK&I at Snom, said: “With the new D812 and D815W models, we are expanding the D8xx series with attractive options in the mid-price market; both offer high performance that meets the everyday needs of most work environments. The D812 and the D815W are solutions for companies who value functionality, design and quality.”

The Snom D8xx family now has its own expansion module, the D8C featuring large, high-resolution colour display with a clear user interface. Up to three Snom D8C modules can be added via plug & play to the USB port of a D8xx deskphone. The module provides a complete overview of call activity whilst also giving the end device a wide range of application possibilities.

Try added: “These three new D8xx series products are just the start of several other launches that we have planned.”
