Westcom-Comstor forges distribution agreement with Rackmount.IT

Westcon-Comstor is collaborating with Rackmount.IT to form a distribution agreement, using the Cisco-focused Comstor arm to empower Cisco partners across the EMEA to modernise and futureproof their customers’ IT infrastructure.

Under the new agreement, Comstor will distribute Rackmount.IT’s Cisco racking solutions across EMEA, enabling Cisco partners to safeguard end-users’ critical network infrastructure, reducing time to resolution through sophisticated patch management.

The collaboration creates new upsell and cross-sell opportunities for partners, helping increase profitability and customer loyalty by integrating Rackmount.IT’s customisable Cisco and Cisco Meraki products with solutions and managed services offerings for new and existing customers.

Rackmount.IT will also accelerate adoption of its portfolio by incorporating Comstor’s value-added services and ecosystem of channel partners, including MSPs and MSSPs, further increasing its reach with enterprises and SMBs.

Steven Heinsius, Vice President, Product Management and Marketing EMEA, Comstor at Westcon-Comstor (pictured) said: “We’re empowering partners to enhance the security and resilience of their customers’ critical network infrastructure through this new collaboration with Rackmount.IT.

“By offering tailor-made rack mount solutions that improve installation, accessibility, security, and reliability, partners can create deeper relationships with customers, including through managed services engagements.

“In the age of the AI-ready datacentre, the agreement further strengthens our Cisco proposition across EMEA and means we can add even greater value to our partners.”

Eric Cantineau, CEO at Rackmount.IT added: “Through our partnership with Westcon-Comstor, we’re helping Cisco partners across EMEA offer better protection and reliability for their customers’ network equipment.

“Together, we’re making it easier for partners to deliver dependable technology – from office spaces to factory floors.”
