VeloxServ selects Compton Care as charity partner

Charity, Fundraising, Partnership

VeloxServ has nominated Compton Care as its charity partner, helping to raise funds and boost awareness of the organisation that delivers specialist palliative care across Wolverhampton, Dudley, Walsall, south Staffordshire, and east Shropshire.

The full fibre connectivity company has provided co-location services to the charity since 2022, supporting those with life-limiting conditions, and the partnership will help to give something back and create a positive social impact within the local community.

The partnership also gives opportunities for VeloxServ employees to engage through volunteering, training, and fundraising activities, while further embedding the company’s values and commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility.

The charity’s expert team provides care both at Compton Hall and in patients’ homes, ensuring individuals and their families feel safe, supported, and empowered at every stage of their journey.

This year alone, it will cost £15.7m to run Compton Care’s services, which include answering 28,000 calls through their 24/7 advice and referral line; providing 24-hour specialist care for 347 patients in their Inpatient Unit; supporting more than 100 children and young people with tailored services; and carrying out 5,234 home visits from doctors, nurses, and paramedics.

Craig Messer, Founder and Managing Director of VeloxServ said: “We’re honoured to be supporting Compton Care as our nominated charity.

“Their work touches the lives of so many people in our community, and we’re helping raise awareness and funds that will ensure they can continue to provide this support.”
