BT Wholesale has launched Teams Phone Mobile for channel partners that combines Microsoft Teams’ collaboration features with EE’s reliable and secure mobile connectivity, to help capitalise on unified communications, digital voice, and collaboration opportunities.
The new addition of Teams Phone Mobile allows users to make and take calls, send messages, and collaborate via a single app across multiple devices.
End users will require a Teams Phone SKU or E5 licence with Teams, while channel partners can purchase Teams Phone Mobile on Complete Mobile and deliver a ready-to-go solution.
Key benefits of Teams Phone Mobile for users include greater reliability, with the ability to make calls over the mobile network or fixed connectivity; better collaboration, with users able to “uplift” mobile calls to Teams on any type of device; and a more unified experience, with access to a combined call history, unified voicemail and status options across Teams devices.
For organisations, benefits include having a single number for mobile, desk and Microsoft Teams, to allow flexible and secure work from any location, device or network; enhanced security as standard, letting businesses extend enterprise-grade business policies such as recording and retention to voice calls on native mobile devices; and more streamlined communications to help consolidate redundant fixed-line and mobile services.
Dr Nicola Millard, Principal Innovation Partner, BT Group (pictured) said: “With the increasing demand from today’s workforce for secure, flexible, and hybrid working experiences, Teams Phone Mobile helps teams to optimise time, reduce costs, and make workflows more seamless.”
