Road hauliers and transport firms will be amongst those most harmed by surging mobile roaming charges that have been reintroduced across Europe this month, warns Uplands Mobiles CEO Paul Hooper.
“This is an industry already under the cosh thanks to the challenges of soaring fuel prices, a driver shortage and increased red tape when crossing from Britain to the EU,” he said.
“Now, firms that work within the EU face the added burden of new EU roaming charges which will have an impact on their bottom line.”
