Gigaclear has secured a further £190m funding to support its rural full fibre rollout, which aims to connect 500k premises by 2023.
The Infracapital-backed altnet recently passed the 250k home milestone.
CFO Ian Wade said: “Gigaclear operates mostly in rural areas, upgrading the infrastructure in communities that have historically been left behind in terms of internet access.
“We are grateful to our investors for this show of confidence.”
The £190m facility was provided by ING, ABN Amro, Lloyds Bank, NatWest, NIBC and UKIB.
