Welcomm Communications will be live streaming a charity Bake Off and auction on Facebook on Friday 26th March, hoping to raise £10k for Leicester Hospice Charity LOROS, which provides compassionate care and support to terminally ill adult patients, their families and carers.
The event will see seven Leicestershire-based business leaders and ex-England Rugby player George Chuter testing their baking skills while facing challenges prompted by donation targets being hit in-stream.
Welcomm will also be running an auction featuring an England Rugby shirt signed by 30 members of the squad, donated by partner O2.
The Market Harborough-based company is encouraging as many people as possible to join the live stream.
Rachel Williamson, Operations Director, said: “As a communications business we understand the importance of keeping people connected. That is why we decided to bring as many people as possible together (virtually) to support a charity that is very important to us.”
