Poly (formerly Plantronics and Polycom)has appointed Carl Wiese as EVP, Chief Revenue Officer and Global Head of Sales.
He brings more than 30 years experience to the role in sales, marketing, services and product management; and moves from BlackBerry where he was President of Global Sales and Service, including holding responsibility for leading the company’s enterprise software business.
"Carl is an accomplished leader with experience driving sales and disruption,” said Poly CEO Joe Burton.
Wiese has also held executive positions at Apple, Avaya, Cisco, Lucent Technologies and Texas Instruments. And is co-author of The Collaboration Imperative: Executive Strategies for Unlocking Your Organisation’s True Potential.
