ClearlyIP has completed the first phase of its European expansion campaign having signed up UK distributor VoIPon to serve resellers across the continent and pulled in Richard Smith as Director of Sales for Europe.
ClearlyIP has offices in the US and Canada and has launched its range of IP Phones and PBX appliances into Europe ahead of plans to expand beyond phones into other software and cloud solutions later in the year.
"Having worked with both Richard and VoIPon in the past we knew the fit was perfect in launching ClearlyIP phones and appliances to the European market,” stated Preston McNair, Chief Revenue Officer at ClearlyIP.
The move follows two acquisitions in three months and according to Smith ClearlyIP's capacity to make market gains is assured based on the nature of its products.
“As soon as I got the first samples on my desk I knew the phones would work well here in the UK and beyond," he stated. "They can be branded with the reseller’s logo at a much smaller order quantity than you would usually find, and the Cloud Device Manager makes them easy to implement."
VoIPon’s Group Sales Director Matthew Hayward added: “We have had lots of interest from resellers even before we took stock. We continue to work on an overall strategy to see this brand succeed.”
