Horizon Capital-backed Timico's campaign in the cloud managed services space has advanced following its acquisition of Cambridge-based AWS consulting firm Arcus Cloud Services (ACS).
The move bolsters Timico's public sector influence following its appointment to the G-Cloud 12 Framework. ACS will continue to operate under its brand.
ACS (previously part of the wider Arcus Global business) will build on its client propositions and services across cloud migrations, cloud contact centres and desktop-as-a-service offerings. It will also enable Timico’s cloud services across the AWS platform.
Timico CEO Neil Muller (pictured) stated: "Arcus Cloud Services strengthens our digital infrastructure services and solutions. ACS is an established AWS partner and we are adding its knowledge and capability to our Hyperscale Hosting Practice.”
Simon Hitchcock, Managing Partner at Horizon Capital, added: "The ACS acquisition is an important step in building a market leader in the digital transformation market and is the third acquisition we have made with Timico since our investment."
