Providence Equity-backed Node4 has enhanced its expertise in delivering Microsoft solutions and grown its footprint in the public sector through the acquisition of IT MSP risual.
The buy will spur growth for Node4 across consulting and managed services by adding 170 staff and expertise in clients in cloud, business and digital transformation.
Building on Node4’s 2021 acquisition of TNP, this buy elevates plans to create a Microsoft Centre of Excellence.
“As Node4 evolves as a business delivering more cloud-led transformation services, risual brings a track record, consultancy skills and managed services in the public cloud,” said Node4 CEO Andrew Gilbert (pictured).
risual’s co-founders, Alun Rogers and Rich Proud will remain in their leadership roles alongside their management team post-acquisition.
Proud said: “The combined group is ready to lead our clients with insights to solve their most challenging needs considering secure and environmentally sustainable operations.”
Node4 will also support risual Education which provides end-user training to help organisations across the UK adopt technology and supports students with qualifications.
