Greg Pelton has returned to Avaya as Vice President of Technology Strategy. In a previous stint at the vendor he was CTO for the Government solutions arm between 2011-2014.
Pelton joins Avaya from Polycom where he was CTO and VP for Infrastructure Engineering.
Previous roles include senior management positions in technology and engineering at Cisco Systems and Nortel Networks.

"Greg brings experience in large and complex technology companies undergoing market transitions, and with his prior knowledge of Avaya he has already hit the ground running."
Reporting to Nikolopoulos, Pelton is responsible for strategic growth and technology transformation initiatives and guiding the broader technology strategy for Avaya.
