Exclusive Group has opened a new front in its global expansion campaign with the acquisition of Irish distributor The NextGen Group.
Exclusive CEO Olivier Breittmayer said: "This is a strong strategic move. Ireland is an important tech centre for large global enterprises and integration partners."
The NextGen Group was established in 2009 and has offices in Dublin and Wexford. It provides network, security and digital solutions and offers services and training capabilities.
Its vendor partners, including Palo Alto Networks and Proofpoint, are a good fit with Exclusive Networks's global portfolio.
The NextGen management team will take leadership roles in the new Exclusive Networks Ireland business.
Gerry Sheldrick, NextGen Group's Country Manager, said: "Our two companies share a common outlook and Exclusive Group's global reach and resources open up new opportunities for NextGen's reseller partners."
