A series of nationwide roadshows hosted by Beyond Connectivity (formerly Nimans Network Services) put a spotlight on the three big forces revolutionising the industry – full fibre, 5G and the cloud – and aimed to put reseller delegates on the path to simplified connectivity services at this time of industry transformation.
During the roadshows Beyond worked in partnership with EE and TalkTalk Business at three venues: BT Tower in London, TalkTalk Business's HQ in Manchester and BT Adastral Park, Ipswich.
“We are facing the biggest industry changes since the advent of broadband,” said Beyond’s Head of Sales, Graham Wilkinson. “It’s important to think beyond today and prepare for the connectivity journey of tomorrow.”
The audience heard how three key forces are changing the market. More bandwidth is being consumed than ever, there’s accelerating investment in Fibre To The Premise (FTTP) – alongside more Openreach Exchange migrations from traditional copper to FTTP.
Resellers were advised on how to continue to be successful in a changing market – where there’s just 7% penetration of FTTP so far.
Wilkinson then announced how Beyond can now offer full fibre To The Premise. "Equally, the arrival of 5G will provide better connection in busy places, faster and better quality and instant connectivity," he said.
“The events provided an opportunity for resellers to learn more about our new propositions and strategies."
