Huddersfield-based IoT distributor Alliot Technologies is the UK’s first distributor of the German vendor Kentix's SmartXcan body temperature sensor. Using thermal image analysis the sensor complies with GDPR regulations.
Fevers are known as one of the leading symptoms of Covid-19 and the SmartXcan provides a contactless body temperature measurement in less than one second.
Alliot’s Product Development Director, Paul Hayes, said: “As restrictions slowly begin to be altered around the word, the Kentix SmartXcan offers a safe, intuitive device which can help us all adjust to the ‘new normal’.
