Capita has secured a two-year contract extension worth £50.6m with Northern Ireland’s Education Authority (EA) to deliver the managed IT service for 1,100 schools.
The extension will see Capita undertake a programme of innovation working with the EA on projects aimed at harnessing the power of data across the MySchool service using Microsoft Power BI.
Jon Lewis, Capita’s CEO, said: “The extension of our contract with Northern Ireland’s EA reflects the strength of our decade-long relationship with the organisation.
“Our teams will continue to transform the service, by bringing new platforms and digital infrastructure into use.”
