Levy leads Sophos as CEO steps down

Joe Levy will serve as acting CEO at Sophos as Kris Hagerman departs the role following 12 years at the company’s helm.

Hagerman has led the company through significant changes, where it roughly tripled its revenue to over $1bn and has grow its customer base from 150,000 to 580,000 worldwide.

He will continue serve as an advisor to the company until April 1, 2024.

He said: “Joe and I have worked closely together for over nine years, and he has been pivotal in leading our product, services and technology initiatives that have underpinned Sophos’ growth.”

Levy has nearly 30 years of experience in cybersecurity, working closely with the channel since the mid-1990s.

He adds: “Our immediate goal is to work with our partners to further expand our collective ability to secure organizations that are unprotected or need stronger cyber defences.”.
