Sophos has appointed Andy Travers who joins as regional vice president for EMEA North to further accelerate the growth of its portfolio of cybersecurity services and products in the region.
Travers will drive growth through strengthening existing relationships and creating new opportunities with Sophos’ already strong customer base of more than 600,000 organisations worldwide.
The new regional VP will work closely with Sophos’ MSPs to ensure that customers are equipped with the right security solutions to combat cyber threats, such as ransomware, data breaches and other persistent cyberattacks.
Travers has over 25 years’ experience developing sales strategies and operations for customers ranging from SMBs to some of the largest telecommunication firms in multiple geographic regions.
He will focus on driving revenue growth for partners and MSPs, prioritising Sophos' portfolio of Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services and endpoint, network, email, and cloud security.
Gerard Allison, senior vice president EMEA, Sophos, said: “This new appointment is another demonstration of our commitment to a channel first approach.
“The best way to strengthen our MSP and channel partner relationships at the mid-market level is to ensure that partner organisations have the best resources at hand when it comes to defeating cyberattacks, which is what Travers will lead on.”
