Burt hire signals Tiger analytics boost

The role of workplace data analytics in the decision making process is strengthening and Tiger's appointment of Richard Burt as Head of Service Management is reflective of this trend and the Hampshire-based firm’s strategy to optimise its SaaS and managed service proposition, according to COO Ben Nicklen.

“Richard joins us with specialist knowledge and experience," he said. "He is a strong communicator and will be integral to leading our migration towards a multi-skilled unified services team."

Burt brings 20 years experience in the IT sector and has held positions at Virgin Media and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

His career high points include supporting complex global organisations in sectors such as finance, industrial gases, aviation, telecommunications and central Government, as well as handling multiple large-scale support contracts, the most substantial worth £26m.

“Organisations are realising that people can work from home and collaborate in different ways,” said Burt.

“The challenge now is to realise how managers can better understand the data they’re sat on to improve productivity, motivate employees, enhance customer experience and inform business-critical decisions.”
