CityFibre has been commended for creating a safe environment for its staff and build partners by health and safety authority, the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).
RoSPA has awarded CityFibre a Bronze Health and Safety Award for its work in the past year where it introduces several measures to mitigate risk and attained ISO 45001 international standard.
Richard Thorpe, Chief Delivery Officer said: “What is important now is that we continue to prioritise health and safety to ensure the wellbeing of everyone involved in building this key piece of national infrastructure.
“Over the next year we will redouble our efforts in that respect and aim to raise standards even further.”
