Converged Communication Solutions has acquired IFB to create a stronger and more diversified business that will enhance service offerings for customers.
The acquisition is a milestone for both organisations and the third buy for Converged in two years.
As two of Aberdeen’s largest ISPs, Converged and IFB have helped shape the region’s digital infrastructure, each bringing complementary strengths together with the merger.
Neil Christie, CTO of Converged Communication Solutions (pictured) said: “This acquisition is a natural fit, uniting two local businesses with a shared passion for using digital technology to drive business success.
“Additionally, this move expands our market share and brings our combined turnover closer to £10 million.”
Graeme Gordon, CEO of IFB added: "Joining forces with Converged allows us to give our customers access to an even broader portfolio of solutions.”
All 15 IFB employees will join Converged, and the team will relocate to Spires Business Centre, alongside Converged’s headquarters.
