NTT Data UK has welcomed a House of Commons Science and Technology Committee report which details security and resilience risks for the UK’s 5G networks and suggests greater diversification of vendors to protect the introduction of other emerging technologies.
Matthew O’Neill, Head of Networks at NTT DATA UK, said: “New and emerging tech will bring a host of benefits to the UK, and it is vital for the government to work alongside the private sector to ensure we can reap those benefits.
“With a digital economy key to the UK’s economic future, the government must make it a priority and continue to back the country as a centre for tech innovation.”
