Bhushan Patil is joining NTT DATA UK&I as Head of Telecom, Media and Technology to lead the continued growth of the company’s telco capability, bringing more than three decades of industry in-depth experience and knowledge to bolster its market position.
The new hire joins as NTT DATA steps up its investment in its TMT practice, with a renewed focus on strategic appointments and increased market presence.
Bhushan’s appointments also marks a push to engage more directly with clients on transformation challenges – from modernising legacy infrastructure to managing AI adoption and shifting to cloud-native networks.
After starting his career as a telecoms engineer at Siemens, Bhushan moved over to Europe in 1999, helping establish and grow European practices from the ground up for many organisations.
He also spent 16 years at another multinational IT services company, where he helped expand the firm’s business beyond traditional IT into networks, operations support systems (OSS) and 5G services for telecom operators and large enterprises.
