Polycom has unveiled its new unified cloud solutions strategy which includes Polycom Cloud Services and Polycom Device Management Services (PDMS).

Polycom also announced it will continue to deploy new cloud solutions for businesses, while adding solutions for service providers in the coming months.

TalkTalk agrees sale of direct B2B business to Daisy for £175m

TalkTalk and Daisy have signed Heads of Terms on a proposed deal which would transfer all existing TalkTalk direct B2B customers to Daisy, around 80,000 SoHo, SME and large enterprise clients which represent less than 20% of TalkTalk's B2B revenues. The transaction is expected to complete in late July 2018.

Chess bags Frontier Voice & Data and StoneHouse Logic

Chess has added £7.2m revenues and over 2,200 customers with the acquisitions of Frontier Voice & Data and IT systems, services and software provider StoneHouse Logic, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner and a Sage Strategic Business Partner.

Chess founder and Chief Executive David Pollock said: "Technically and culturally, we see these two acquisitions as a great fit."

European Commission identifies comms law breakers across Europe

The European Commission has found that four fifths (79%) of websites selling fixed/mobile phone, internet, audio and video streaming services are potentially breaking consumer laws across Europe. The EU-wide investigation studied 207 websites, with 163 now under further investigation.
