Virtual1's automated MPLS quoting and ordering tool launched in August is now in use by over 70 partners who have raised 650-plus quotes in the period to mid-November.

Beyond quoting on the connectivity Virtual1 also takes into account the wider solution and use cases for MPLS.
These include producing multiple versions of the same solution to look at different bandwidth combinations; a full break down of all components and costs; additional services such as central Internet break out, SIP Exchange or private access to public cloud providers; and automatic visual rendering of a solution so it can be discussed with end customers.
"We are on the verge of deploying our third additional feature release, which will allow partners to further define the logical network setup like VPNs, VLANs, bandwidth splits and quality of service," added Wilson.
"It also scores the resiliency of each customer site in the solution, enabling partners to pinpoint up-sell opportunities."
